# HeartRiskCalc: site overview

Documentation updated: 2026-10-16. This is an editorial update, not a clinical review.

HeartRiskCalc (https://heartattackriskcalc.com) is an independent educational website. It offers four free browser-based cardiovascular calculators and public, source-linked health guides. No account, subscription, or payment is required. There is no paid plan, sponsored content, or advertising currently. It is not an official AHA, ACC, MESA, or Framingham service. The team is not licensed medical professionals, and the site is not physician-reviewed.

## Data and use

Calculators run locally in the visitor's browser. Health inputs and calculated results are not sent to the site's server or analytics. There is no public calculation API, patient account, or saved health history. Google Analytics loads only after consent and receives page/action information, not health values. External AI links use a fixed website question; they are not a clinical chatbot embedded in HeartRiskCalc.

Scores are educational estimates for discussion with a clinician. They cannot detect an ongoing heart attack, prove that someone is safe, or decide whether to start or stop medication. For suspected heart attack symptoms, call emergency services immediately (911 in the U.S.; the local emergency number elsewhere).
