# HeartRiskCalc: privacy and external AI services

## Calculator data

All four calculators run in the visitor's browser. Health inputs and calculated results are not uploaded to the site's server, stored in a patient account, or attached to analytics events. There is no saved health history or public calculation API. Browser-side calculations do not mean ordinary website requests are anonymous or that third-party services have the same privacy policy.

## Analytics

Google Analytics loads only after a visitor accepts analytics. It receives page and action information, not health inputs or scores. Starting, completing, trying an example, and requesting a print dialog are distinct actions. Consent preferences are saved in the browser; the footer's Analytics settings control can reopen them. If analytics are declined, the Google tag is not loaded. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in the site tag. No AdSense or advertising is currently displayed.

## External AI links

The footer offers links to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Grok with a fixed question about HeartRiskCalc's public documentation. The question contains public website URLs and asks about tools, model differences, limitations, cost, and privacy. It contains no visitor input, calculated result, account identifier, or personal health data. No AI service is loaded or contacted by this feature until a visitor opens a link.

These services are external and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability, browsing access, sign-in requirements, and prompt-prefill behavior can vary. Visitors can view and manually copy the same question from the footer if it does not prefill. AI answers can be wrong; personal health details should not be shared through these links. The AI links are for explaining this website, not for diagnosis or medication advice.
