Short version
Nothing you type into the calculator is transmitted, logged, or stored anywhere. The calculation runs in your browser. Google Analytics loads only if you accept analytics on this site.
Health inputs
Age, sex, race, cholesterol values, blood pressure, and the yes/no health questions never leave your device. There is no server component to the calculator itself. You can verify this by opening your browser's network inspector while using the tool.
Analytics
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-QGP41NCXWK) to count page visits and understand which articles help readers. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies. We disable Google Signals and advertising personalization in the site tag. If you decline, the Google tag is not loaded and no analytics data is sent to Google.
We also count actions such as starting the calculator, completing a calculation, trying the example, and requesting the print dialog. These events contain action names only; we do not attach your health inputs or calculated results.
Your choice is stored in your browser so the site can remember it. You can reopen Analytics settings from the footer at any time. Google's handling of analytics data is described in its privacy policy.
External AI links
The footer links to external AI services with a fixed question about this website and links to our public documentation. No calculator inputs, results, or personal health details are included. These services are contacted only when you open a link and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Their answers may be inaccurate; please do not share personal health information or use them for diagnosis or medication decisions.
Advertising
We do not currently display advertisements or load Google AdSense. If we introduce advertising, we will update this policy to describe the service and its data use before enabling it. Calculator health inputs are not sent to advertisers.
We do not currently offer an email subscription or a risk-tracking email plan. Email contact is being set up; see our contact page for its current status. Please do not send personal health information by email.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we do not collect personal identifiers, there is generally no personal data of yours for us to access, correct, or delete. See our contact page for contact-channel availability; email is still being configured.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date at the top will change.
